Now that silent warriors is in its 2nd year I have been looking for a way to make the servers and website run better at the moment it all falls upon Thumper to pay for the day to day running costs
We have a few members that donate regularly which helps a lot but there is still a shortfall.
So I wish to reward members that donate regularly
I am planning on making a new membership (Gold Member)
The gold members will have a new SW tag and an extra avatar to show off
This will let everybody know that you’re helping pay for the servers
We will setup a new bank account just for SW this will make it easier to donate as you will not have to use PayPal you can pay your donation into the account that means that we will get 100% of your donation as PayPal takes a cut from all transactions
We will setup a new forum just for gold members to see the state of the accounts so you know where all the donations are going.
We don’t plan to show names and amount of donations as there will not be a minimum amount that you have to donate as every little helps
All you have to do is make one donation a month to keep you gold member status
Not making a donation is not a problem as you will still be a member you will just simply have the standard SW tag.
This is not compulsory it’s still on a donation basis standard members will still have full membership and being a gold member will not give you preference within the squad its simply to show to all that your helping pay for the servers
If we make more cash than needed then we will simply save and put it towards a new server box thus giving you all a better place to play
The overall aim is to make Silent Warriors self-contained as if we can get a good server box we can rent part off it out to pay the whole cost of the running of Silent Warriors and hopefully make Silent Warriors the UK’s No 1 clan
